Process

There were three elements to our input:

  • Assessment of competitor products - reviewed for their fit, ergonomics and user interface (controls)

  • Fitting trial of prototype headset - the prototype headset included adjustments. Our research led to recommendations for the optimum dimensions

  • User testing - the prototype headset was compared to current market leading products to identify strengths and weaknesses of the prototype

Outcome

The recommendations from our work were were adopted in the final product design.

The bluetooth headset was successfully launched and received a prestigious Red Dot design award.
